Overford charity cycling event sheffield.

The Peak District Charity Cycling Challenge 2026

Coming soon – the Overford ride returns!

We’ll be organising our charity cycling event again in Sheffield for our 3rd year in a row. This year’s event takes place on 25 September with a slightly adjusted route and another opportunity to support Weston Park Cancer Charity as well as meeting new people and getting active for the Autumn.

For 1 in 2 people, cancer changes everything. Weston Park Cancer Charity supports people going through difficult times, alongside the hospital and medical experts caring for them. The services, therapies, advice and support they provide help people live with and beyond cancer, while fundraising also supports pioneering research and clinical trials at Weston Park Cancer Centre. Last year, around 20 riders raised around £5,000 for the charity, and we hope to build on that again this year.

A British Cycling sportive, the ride features medical support and feed stations, along with a host of other great benefits.

Book your place through the British Cycling website here. And we’ll be in touch soon.

There will be a long and a shorter route, so whether you’re an experienced rider or more of a leisure cyclist, there should be an option suitable for you. The majority of riders choose the shorter route:
