Overford is sponsoring this year’s Construction and Law Masterclass in Manchester. Crystal Jenkins, from our Manchester office will be joining the speaker line-up for the afternoon. Taking place on 4th November at the People’s History Museum, the event will bring together construction and legal professionals for an afternoon of talks and panel discussions.

Crystal will be taking part in a panel exploring Regeneration, Heritage & the Changing Skyline of the North: Mills, Towns and Cities. With Overford’s experience working on regeneration projects and redevelopment of former mill sites, the team is looking forward to bringing some of that experience into the discussion.

The discussion will look at how places across the north are changing, including the challenges around working with existing and heritage buildings, as well as tall buildings, and the impact of the Building Safety Act.

Crystal will be joined on the panel by Adam Jason of Harrison Drury Solicitors and Euan Kellie of Euan Kellie Property Solutions, and Chris Lonergan of Arup.

The wider masterclass hosted by Limeslade and the CIOB, will feature Speakers from PlanIt, CMS, Kings Chambers, Addleshaw Goddard,  Brodies LLP, Walker Morris LLP, 4 Pump Court and IN2 Engineering, with further names still to be confirmed. You can view the full timetable for the event here.
