Overford are proud to be sponsoring the annual battle of the bands event Expertise Rocks!
On the 9th July in London, a host of industry experts will channel their inner rock stars and battle it out on the stage to a panel of illustrious judges, and a sell-out audience.
Doors open at 6.45pm followed by the battle from 7.15pm. Each band plays a set of their choosing, usually covers. Bands are judged on performance, musicianship, entertainment, and all the skills that go to make up a good band. At the end of the night the winner is decided, and takes home the title of Expertise Rocks! Band of 2025!
This year the event will be raising money for Kinetika Bloco. Kinetika Bloco works to get young people from South London engaged in long term creative activity advancing their education, skills, and capacity. Through the music, dance, design and leadership activities they enable young people to have creative engagement, determine company policy and direction and to follow pathways for leadership and career development and participate in society as mature and responsible individuals.
